Statistics
So many people don't realize the disastrous effects of global warming on Earth. This page is intended to raise awareness of the effects and consequences of global warming using statistics.

Increasing Temperatures
The average temperature has raised at an average rate of 0.14 degrees Fahrenheit per decade since 1880 since 1981 raised 0.32 degrees Fahrenheit according to NOAA 21

Global temperature in 2022 is projected to be more than 1 whole degree celsius than average in 1850-1900

Rising seas is one of those climate change effects. Average sea levels have swelled over 8 inches (about 23 cm) since 1880, with about three of those inches gained in the last 25 years. Every year, the sea rises another .13 inches (3.2 mm.) New research published on February 15, 2022, shows that sea level rise is accelerating and projected to rise by a foot by 2050 according to National Geographic.

Consequences
More frequent and intense drought, storms, heat waves, rising sea levels, melting glaciers and warming oceans can directly harm animals, destroy the places they live, and wreak havoc on people's livelihoods and communities. As climate change worsens, dangerous weather events are becoming more frequent or severe.
